It handles like a sword (sweep attack included). For comparison: a Netherite sword deals 8 damage at 1.6 (12.8 per second) and lasts 2,031 uses; Byakkomaru deals 9 damage at 1.6 (14.4 per second) and lasts 3,200 uses.

  • Fire and lava resistant, like Netherite.
  • No material repairs it at the anvil.
  • Shown in 3D in hand; its green parts glow in the dark.

How to get it

In the Black Demon vault of the sealed armory (y = -55), on its chest on the right as you walk in, second chest: right-click to take it. You first need to open the sealed gate, then feed the Demon Lock. It is also in the creative tab.
