A hungry iron maw: feed it a mass-produced cursed weapon and the Black Demon Gate opens.

The Demon Lock guards the Black Demon Gate. The Black Demons only let those who have already accepted a demon come near: that is the meaning of the offering it demands.

Use

Right-click once fed Nothing: it only opens once

All six mass-produced weapons are accepted: cursed katana, twin blade, spear, axe, scythe and bow. Black Demons are not accepted.

Details

  • Once fed, it goes from a faint glow (light 4) to a bright blaze (light 13), with a respawn-anchor rumble and heartbeats.
  • It looks for the Black Demon Gate within 6 blocks around it (from 2 blocks below to 6 above) and opens the whole gate, from top to bottom.
  • In creative, the offered weapon is not removed from your inventory.

In the armory, it sits on a blackstone dais at the end of the central aisle, facing the weapon hall's entrance.
