Released Commands v0.0.1 4 min read

Great Sage has two families of commands. /greatsage lives on the server: previews to replay an announcement or a scene without changing anything about your character, and admin tools. The client commands (/sage, /sagescene, /sageraphael, /sagedemo) run on your machine: they open a screen or talk to the Sage, and need no rights.

"None" means the command requires no permission level: any player can use it, and it only affects them.

Previews

None of them unlocks anything: they only send the announcement or the scene to whoever types the command. Scenes started this way protect the player like real ones (see Ceremonies and evolutions).

/greatsage preview <skill> [skill…]

Replays the announcement as if the skills had just been acquired. Several skills in one command form a single grouped announcement, like an evolution. The tensura: namespace is implied; for an addon, write the full id. Completion suggests every skill in the registry.

/greatsage ceremony <type>

Types: hero_egg, demon_lord_seed, harvest_festival, true_hero, true_demon_lord.

/greatsage evolve <from> <to>

Replays the species evolution scene between two Tensura species (ids without tensura:), without changing yours.

txt
/greatsage evolve slime demon_slime

/greatsage demo

A True Demon Lord awakening that absorbs seven skills of four ranks (extra, unique, intrinsic, common): the best way to see a complete ceremony.

/greatsage fusion

With no argument: Great Sage and Predator fused into Raphael. With arguments: the sources, then the result last, whose rank is read from the skill. Nothing is learned. The fusion scene needs shader rendering (0.0.7).

Admin tools

Permission level 2 (operator, or cheats enabled in singleplayer).

/greatsage grant <skill>

Learns a skill on the spot, with no magicule cost, through Tensura's own path. Without a namespace, greatsage: is used (/greatsage grant venuzdonoa); for any other skill, give the full id (/greatsage grant tensura:magic_sense). A skill already learned is reported and left as it is.

/greatsage xp <players> info|add|set|level

The Sage's experience:

Form Effect
info Level, XP, next threshold, free points, does the player carry the Sage?, counters of species seen, skills recorded and items appraised
add <n> Adds n XP (negative to remove)
set <n> Sets XP to n
level <n> Puts the player at the start of level n

The level reached is announced as in game. info helps understand XP that no longer rises: it only comes from new discoveries, and only if the player carries the Sage.

/greatsage sigils

Shows, for the player typing it and in this world, the figure → gift table in effect (Unique, minor form, greater form), the shuffle mode, and the pool size (including addon bundles). It is there to check the draw, not to get around it. See Reincarnation.

/greatsage mark <targets> <awakening>

Puts a Tensura awakening on creatures, to test the Assess Mode card without a real Harvest Festival: demon_lord_seed, true_demon_lord (also sets the seed), hero_egg, true_hero (also sets the egg), blessed, or clear to remove everything.

/greatsage worldvoice

  • /greatsage worldvoice test <true_demon_lord|harvest_festival|true_hero>: the announcement for you alone, with your name.
  • /greatsage worldvoice <targets> "<clip>" <Japanese JSON> <text JSON>: makes the Voice of the World speak, for a server or a mod.

See The Voice of the World.

Client commands

/sage [request]

Anything you could say to the Sage, typed: /sage what is my EP. With no argument it shows how to use it and how many requests are understood. It follows the same rules as the voice (you must carry the Sage). See Voice commands and the voice command list.

/sagescene and /sagescene rimuru

Opens the reincarnation scene as a preview: you can draw, nothing is granted, and every opening draws its own table. Escape to leave. rimuru plays the episode 1 story of Rimuru mode.

/sageraphael [seconds]

The Raphael evolution scene, granting nothing. A number (0 to 61.5) opens the scene at that moment: /sageraphael 24 lands on the grid.

/sagedemo

A self-driving demo: a visible cursor goes through the Sage's console, opens every page, asks a question, then starts Raphael's scene.
