How the Sage answers
The Sage always answers in Japanese, in his own voice; the subtitle follows your game language. Every answer opens with a one-syllable marker, as in the anime: 告 Koku (report), 解 Kai (answer), 是 Ze (yes), 否 Hi (no, refusal), 了 Ryō (order received). Skill and species names are spoken with their own clip when one exists; otherwise the name only shows in the subtitle.

How numbers are read
No number is recorded as such: the Sage builds them out of about thirty clips (digits, 十 jū, 百 hyaku, 千 sen, 万 man, 億 oku, "percent", です desu).
- He counts the Japanese way, in blocks of ten thousand: 万 man (10,000), then 億 oku (100,000,000). Three million is "three hundred man".
- Irregular forms have their own clip: sanbyaku (300), roppyaku (600), happyaku (800), sanzen (3,000), hassen (8,000). Ten is 十 alone, never "one-ten".
- From 10,000 up, the value is rounded to two significant figures and preceded by 約 yaku, "about": 3,412,706 is spoken as "about three hundred forty man" (3,400,000). The Sage reads an aura, he does not count coins.
- A percentage ends with パーセント pāsento. Coordinates are read one after the other (X, Y, Z).
- The subtitle writes the value in short form:

Notes
- Storage means the stomach of Predator, Gluttony or any other spatial storage skill you actually hold; Predator and Gluttony are used first.
- Battle mode: link your skills first on the Battle Mode page of the menu. A toggle skill stays on as long as the mode lasts; a triggered skill is recast when its cooldown ends, never more than once every 5 seconds. The mode can only be engaged by voice or
/sage. - "analyse skill" goes through the same checks as the menu (rank opened, magicules, free threads…), but the voice refuses as soon as one analysis is already running, even if you have free threads left: start the next ones from the menu.
- What he refuses on purpose: finding villages and labyrinths, repairing, and crafting for you (he only tells you whether it can be done).
