0.0.2 — Four new Angels, and Sephira in survival

Zadkiel, Rasiel, Haniel and Gabriel join the Angels, every Angel becomes an Ultimate skill, and for the first time you can earn one without commands.

Four new Angels

  • Zadkiel (Yoshino) — the giant ice puppet, and you can ride it. Freezing Air, Ice Storm, Ice Wall, Puppet Strings, a Second Form where it grows huge, the Blizzard Dome (a dome of ice where projectiles die and needles rain on intruders) and Absolute Zero, a fifty-block lance that freezes whatever it touches.
  • Rasiel (Nia) — the book that knows everything. Not a weapon: open the page, draw and/or write a word, and it answers — find a player, a vanilla structure, a biome, an ore vein, what lives around you, someone's grave or bed; travel to what you found, summon a player, call three iron guardians. Every entry has its own magicule cost and cooldown. Omniscience reads a target and sorts its skills by category.
  • Haniel (Natsumi) — the witch broom. One press and you sit on it and fly. Mimicry gives you the look of the creature you aim at, Transformation turns a monster into a harmless animal or a player into a weak little rabbit, the Mirror Prison holds up to three creatures in stasis, and Kaleidoscope copies the Angel of whoever you aim at for ninety seconds.
  • Gabriel (Miku) — a monumental pipe organ that stays where you call it, with a circular keyboard you stand in to play. March, Rondo, Solo and Requiem last as long as you play; Symphony sends a sonic wave through armour, and Fantasia plays everything at once with all your magicules.

Every Angel is now an Ultimate skill, announced with its full title.

Sephira Crystals in survival

  • Bosses have a 1% chance to drop an impure Sephira — a Qlipha Crystal, one per Angel. A Spirit drops her own.
  • Absorbing one kills you.
  • Put it in a creature instead: it becomes a miniboss carrying the Demon King of that Sephira (Satan, Beelzebub, Lucifugus, Astaroth, Asmodeus, Belphegor, Baal, Lilith) — eight times its health, three times its damage, a boss bar and the attacks of the inverted Angel. Kill it and the crystal comes back a little clearer.
  • The stronger the host (EP), the faster it purifies: around a hundred ordinary monsters, far fewer big ones. At 100%, the host drops the real Sephira Crystal.

Four more Spirits

  • Yoshino (Chesed) doesn't fight — Zadkiel does. Kill the puppet and she calls it back; halfway down comes the lance, and at the end Absolute Zero.
  • Nia Honjo (Chokmah) reads you: a wall of pages that eats projectiles, copies of MARIA, three iron guardians, and the Phantom Library in her last phase. Little health, nothing at melee range.
  • Natsumi Kyouno (Netzach) hides: she turns into an animal and vanishes into a herd of real ones; the first hit gives her away. Broom dives, the rabbit curse, mirror stasis, and Kaleidoscope in her last phase.
  • Miku (Yesod) gives a concert. Gabriel rises behind her and she never leaves her keyboard: you have to cross her music to reach her. Her Solo turns you against your friends if you have less EP than her.

Each has her own sky sanctum: Yoshino's frozen lake under Zadkiel's two ice ears, Nia's open-air library, Natsumi's witch clearing under a colossal hat, and Miku's concert hall ringed by light bars.

Removed

  • Ain Soph, its dimension and the ainSophRadius gamerule.

0.0.1 — First release

The Angels of Date A Live, as real Tensura: Reincarnated skills. Five Angels, three Spirits who fight with them, a ritual machine that tears them out of their bearer, a cathedral somewhere in your world, and three Spirits waiting in citadels at the top of the sky.

The Angels

Every Angel is a Tensura unique skill: put it in a slot, switch modes, or hold G for the mode wheel. Every effect is drawn by the mod, with no vanilla particles.

  • Metatron (Origami) — a crown of eight light cannons: Kadour, Shemesh, Artelif, Mal'akh (flight) and Lock-On.
  • Michael (Mukuro) — the key. Segva locks a target's skills, doors and machines, freezes objects, even the day-night cycle. Lataibu hurls the ground at a target, opens passages, rains meteors — and Deflection sends projectiles back at whoever fired them, Zaphkiel's bullets included.
  • Zaphkiel, Emperor of Eternity (Kurumi) — the clock, twelve bullets of time, the shadow and the City of Devouring Time, all paid with a crimson time bar under Tensura's bars.
  • Camael (Kotori) — the axe of flame: Blazing Crescent, Burning Whirl, Wall of Flame, Flames of Rebirth, and Megiddo, the axe rebuilding itself into a cannon for a 96-block beam that scorches the ground.
  • Ain Soph (Mio) — the angel of laws of the Spirit of Origin and her Neighboring World. Removed in 0.0.2.

Kurumi's two guns

Calling Zaphkiel puts the flintlock in your right hand and the musket in your left, both fully animated. Right-click: the flintlock; left-click: the musket. A loaded bullet leaves with whichever gun fires first. Sneak + click: on yourself.
