Zaphkiel's Musket
Kurumi's long musket, the second weapon of Zaphkiel's Manifest: it fires on left-click, plain bullet or loaded bullet, in either hand.
Zaphkiel's Musket is Kurumi Tokisaki's long flintlock gun, the second weapon given by
Zaphkiel, Emperor of Eternity's Manifest. It comes into your left hand, opposite the
flintlock in your right, the way Kurumi carries them. Its model is fully animated: on every shot the hammer cocks and strikes, the frizzen flips, the trigger goes, the barrel kicks back and the muzzle rises.
Obtaining
Only through Zaphkiel's Manifest mode: it arrives in your off hand with its appearance animation, right after the clock bursts out. Manifesting again sends it away together with the flintlock.
Firing
| Action | Bullet loaded | Nothing loaded |
|---|---|---|
| Left-click | Fires the bullet at what you aim at | Plain bullet (10 HP) |
| Sneak + left-click | Bullet into your own temple (0.9 s) | Nothing |
- The musket fires on left-click, whichever hand holds it. Right-click stays with the flintlock: the musket lets it through, so the flintlock fires even from the other hand.
- One click, one shot: holding the button does not fire a burst.
- Rate: one bullet every 0.5 s, separate from the flintlock's. Alternating left and right clicks doubles your fire.
- Loaded bullet: it leaves with whichever gun fires first. If the musket fires first, it takes it. See
The Twelve Bullets of Zaphkiel. - The musket's muzzle sits further ahead of you than the flintlock's (0.4 block); the firing gesture and the arm following your aim switch to the left side.
A weapon that never leaves you
Like the flintlock and the other angel weapons, the musket cannot be tossed, cannot be stored anywhere outside your inventory (chests, tables, bags, decorated pots…), cannot be placed on an item frame, armor stand or allay, is not dropped on death and can never exist on the ground. It is fire resistant and does not stack. Segva takes it out of your inventory along with the flintlock.
