Zaphkiel's Flintlock
Kurumi's flintlock pistol, given by Zaphkiel's Manifest: right-click to fire a plain bullet or the loaded one, sneak to shoot it into your own temple.
Zaphkiel's Flintlock is Kurumi Tokisaki's flintlock pistol, the one that fires the clock's hours. It is not something you craft or find: it only exists while you call
Zaphkiel, Emperor of Eternity, and vanishes with the clock. It is a fully animated model: it appears in your hand, and on every shot the hammer snaps down on the frizzen.
Obtaining
Use Zaphkiel's Manifest mode: the clock bursts out behind you and, right after, the flintlock arrives in your right hand (main hand) and the
musket in your left. Whatever you were holding goes into your inventory. Manifesting again sends both away.
If you load a bullet while neither the flintlock nor the musket is in hand, the flintlock comes back on its own into your main hand.
Firing
| Action | Bullet loaded | Nothing loaded |
|---|---|---|
| Right-click | Fires the bullet at what you aim at | Plain bullet (10 HP) |
| Sneak + right-click | Bullet into your own temple (0.9 s) | Nothing |
- Right-click works in either hand.
- Plain bullet: crimson, no letter, free (no magicules, no time), 10 HP, i.e. 5 hearts. One every 0.5 s; the musket has its own rate.
- Loaded bullet: the one a bullet mode put in the chamber. It leaves with whichever gun fires first, flintlock or musket. See
The Twelve Bullets of Zaphkiel. - Self-shot: the temple gesture takes 0.9 s, then both guns wait a little longer before they can fire again.
- It is not a bow: no drawing, no ammunition. The shot goes off 0.2 s after the click, and your arm follows your aim, up, down and to the sides.
- The bullet flies straight, without gravity, towards the aimed point; it never hits you or your Het clones.
A weapon that never leaves you
An angel's weapon is not loot. The flintlock:
- cannot be tossed: it comes back into your inventory (if it is full, it vanishes; a Manifest gives it back);
- cannot be stored anywhere outside your inventory: no chest, barrel, crafting table, donkey, bag or decorated pot;
- cannot be placed on an item frame, armor stand or allay;
- is not dropped on death: it is removed before your inventory spills;
- can never exist on the ground as an item.
It is also fire resistant and does not stack.
Segva (Michael's key) undoes the clock and takes both guns out of your inventory.
