Gamerules
Date a Slime's nine gamerules: terrain, the Extractor, chains, sky sanctums and Qlipha Crystals. They can be changed in game, without a restart.
Date a Slime has no config file: everything a server can tune goes through gamerules. They live in the world, an operator changes them in game with /gamerule, and they take effect immediately, without a restart. They also appear in the game rules screen when you create a world.

Terrain
lataibuTerrain — true by default
At true, the rifts of
Lataibu take blocks from the ground to hurl them at the target, and the explosions of those blocks and of the meteors dig craters. At false, the rifts copy the blocks without removing them and explosions leave the ground alone — perfect for a server that doesn't want its spawn riddled with holes. Fights against
Mukuro Hoshimiya follow the same rule.
segvaStopsTime — true by default
At true, turning the key of
Segva in the ground stops the day-night cycle for the whole server for five minutes, then restores it exactly as it was. At false, the key refuses that gesture ("Segva cannot stop the world here"). Segva's other uses are unaffected.
megiddoTerrain — true by default
At true, the
Megiddo beam goes through walls and leaves a trench of scorched earth (basalt, magma, soul sand, glass…), and Blazing Crescent and Wall of Flame light real fires. At false, the beam stops at the first block and nothing burns.
Sephira Extractor
extractorOfficiants — 1 by default (1 to 4)
How many players must stand in the circles for the ritual to start. Out-of-range values are clamped between 1 and 4 (there are only four circles). The number only counts at the start: once launched, the ritual is played by whoever remains.
extractorEscort — 1 by default
How many other players must stand within 12 blocks of the victim for the cross of the Extractor to take them. That's what makes it being brought there by force. At 0, the cross takes a Sephira carrier even alone: handy to try the machine, not something to leave on a server.
Sealing Chains
chainMinPlayers — 4 by default (1 to 4)
How many
chains must be placed for a Spirit to be fully contained. Below that, the Spirit is held but struggles on almost equal terms. At 1, a single player can drag a Spirit to the Extractor. Out-of-range values are clamped between 1 and 4.
Sky sanctums
spiritRespawnMinutes — 180 by default
Minutes of world time (server running) before a slain Spirit returns to her sky sanctum, counted from the last time the sanctum saw her alive. 180 = three hours. At 0, a defeated Spirit never comes back. It doesn't affect Spirits summoned by hand with /summon.
Qlipha Crystals
qliphaDropChance — 1 by default
Percent chance that a boss from the bearers list drops a
Qlipha Crystal when it dies. 0 turns that drop off entirely (for a server that wants to hand out Angels itself); 100 makes it guaranteed.
qliphaHostGain — 10 by default
What a 2,000 EP
host gives back to the crystal when it dies, in per-mille of purity (10 = 1%). The real gain follows the square root of the host's EP, and stays between 0.2% and 20% per host. Doubling this value roughly halves the number of hosts you need.
