The Time Bar
Kurumi's time: the crimson bar under Tensura's bars that pays for Zaphkiel's powers, refills on its own up to 100% and climbs to 1500% by devouring other people's time.
In the story, every bullet of Zaphkiel is paid for in time — Kurumi's own, or time she stole from others. The mod takes the idea literally: the powers of
Zaphkiel, Emperor of Eternity draw from a crimson time bar, shown under Tensura's aura and magicule bars. It refills on its own, slowly, up to 100%; beyond that, you have to take other people's time.
The count
- 1000 units make 100%: 100% is all of your own time.
- You start at 100%.
- While you are below 100%, time comes back at 0.5% per second (5 units): 3 min 20 s from empty to full. It never refills on its own past 100%.
- Above 100%, only the City of Devouring Time and Devour's prisoners give you more, up to a cap of 1500%.
- Time is saved with the player and kept on death.
- It is spent in creative too.
- The bar only shows up if you wield Zaphkiel; time only refills in that case.
What each power costs
| Power | Time | When it is paid |
|---|---|---|
| Aleph | 6% | On loading |
| Bet | 8% | On loading |
| Gimel | 7% | On loading |
| Dalet | 15% | On loading |
| Hei | 10% | On loading |
| Vav | 15% | On loading |
| Zayin | 20% | On loading |
| Het | 30% | On loading |
| Tet | 15% | On loading |
| Yud | 10% | On loading |
| Yud Aleph | 25% | On loading |
| Yud Bet | 300% | On loading |
| Shadow (dive) | 5% | When diving |
| Devour | 12% | When prey is taken |
Free: Manifesting the clock (and dismissing it), plain bullets from the flintlock and the musket, emerging from the shadow, spitting out your prisoners (Devour with no target) and the City, which pays you instead.
A bullet is paid when it is loaded, not when it is fired: loading another bullet on top loses the first one and its time. Bullet details:
The Twelve Bullets of Zaphkiel.
When there is not enough
The power is refused before Tensura takes the magicules: nothing is spent, and a message says so ("Not enough time left: X needed"), with a short dry click. Yud Bet and its 300% can therefore only be fired after feeding in the City.
Gaining time beyond 100%
Both sources take the time of living beings, and they take more the larger the victim's maximum health. Per victim and per second, you gain:
0.4% + 0.02% per maximum HP of the victim
| Victim | Max health | Gain per second |
|---|---|---|
| Zombie | 20 HP | 0.8% |
| Player | 100 HP | 2.4% |
| Creature | 500 HP | 10.4% |
- City of Devouring Time: every second, for every living being within its 40 blocks (except you, your pets, your clones, players in creative), for 30 s. In exchange, the victim loses 2% of its maximum health per second.
- Devour: every second, for every prisoner in your shadow, for its two minutes of imprisonment. The prisoner loses 1% of its maximum health per second. A player in creative or spectator gives nothing.

The bar on screen
The bar is added as a third row under Tensura's aura and magicule bars, in the same frame: it follows the position, scale and side you picked in Tensura's HUD, and is drawn mirrored (filling from the right) when the bars sit on the right of the screen. The exact figure is shown in the middle, for example 350%.
Color layers
A bar cannot grow forever: every 100% slice is a layer.
| Slice | Layer color |
|---|---|
| 0 to 100% | Crimson — your own time |
| 100 to 200% | Pink |
| 200 to 300% | Violet |
| 300 to 400% | Ivory |
| Beyond | Pink, violet, ivory, looping |
The full layer underneath stays stretched across the whole width, darkened; the current layer fills over it in its own color. What you just spent leaves a white trail that melts away in a fraction of a second; what the City or your prisoners pour in sends a shimmer running along the bar.
Tips
- Always keep enough to dive into the shadow (5%): it is your way out.
- The City costs no time: raise it in the middle of a crowd to fill several layers at once — careful, it takes your allies' time too.
- High-health prisoners fill your bar for two minutes while you fight elsewhere.
- Below 100%, there is no hurry: time comes back on its own, just slowly.
