Wing Shape shapes the elements you hold into a pair of wings that unfold on your back. While they last, jumping makes you climb, letting go makes you glide, sprinting pushes you forward — and no fall can hurt you. No authority is required: this is the Underworld's first flight.
The incantation
System Call. Generate Aerial Element. Generate Aerial Element. Form Element, Wing Shape. Discharge.
- Hold at least one element (or core): with nothing to shape, the command is refused.
- Any element works; the most common one colours the wings. The aerial element is the most faithful to the novels, but nothing forces you to use it.
Form Elementmay be left out:Wing Shapealone is enough.Dischargeunfolds the wings and closes the incantation.

Duration
Every held element adds two seconds, cores included (every fused element counts).
| Elements | Duration | Who can |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | 14 s | everyone (SCA 1) |
| 6 | 22 s | SCA 41 |
| 10 | 30 s | SCA 81 (one per finger) |
| 25 or more | 60 s | with cores (Merge Element) |
Flying
The wings only work in the air and out of water: jump first.
| Control | Effect |
|---|---|
| Hold Space (jump) | you climb, faster and faster (at most 9.6 blocks/s) |
| Release jump | you glide: the descent is slowed (at most 3.2 blocks/s) |
| Sprint (Ctrl or double-tap W) | a push forward, in the direction you look (at most 18 blocks/s) |
You take no fall damage while the wings last, and accumulated height is forgotten every instant: landing from a hundred-block flight is safe.
The end
- The wings vanish at the end of their duration, or if you die.
- If they fade mid-flight, you fall normally; the fall is counted from that moment on. Land before the end, or keep enough to cast the spell again.
