Frostscale Whip
Eldrie's weapon, once a white two-headed serpent: a whip that lashes from six blocks, then becomes a serpent, then a brood.
The Frostscale Whip is the Divine Object of Eldrie Synthesis Thirty-One. It was once a white two-headed serpent, lord of the greatest lake of the Eastern Empire, which the Administrator captured alive and turned into this whip. It is not a sword: it strikes from afar, at six blocks. Its Enhance Armament wakes the serpent in the lash; its Release Recollection bursts it into a brood of eight serpents.

Getting the whip
No recipe or loot yet: the whip is in the Combat tab of the creative inventory, or given with /give @s slimeartonline:frostscale_whip.

Its tooltip: "Divine Object · Priority 44", the lowest of the Divine Objects: it is the first one that will answer you. See
Divine Objects and Armament Full Control.
The lash
Every left click, hit or miss, unrolls the lash toward the creature closest to your gaze (within a narrow cone), up to 6 blocks; with no prey, it cracks against the first block or at the end of its reach. The tip follows its prey until the crack, which deals 5 damage and a light knockback.
- You need an Object Control Authority of at least 44 to unroll the lash. Below that, only the handle hits, in melee.
- If you are aiming at a block within arm's reach, the whip doesn't crack: you can mine without lashing on every swing.
- Lash damage doesn't depend on your OCA.
Armament Full Control
With the whip in your main hand, say or type the art, no System Call.
Incantation: Enhance Armament — OCA 44 or more.
The lash wakes: its scales bristle, it rises out of your hand, head raised in front of you, and sways. For 12 s, every left click sends it lunging at its prey — the creature closest to your gaze, up to 25 blocks — which it follows if it dodges, jaws wide open. The bite wounds and frosts; the serpent holds for a moment, then rises before you again.
| Value | |
|---|---|
| Art duration | 12 s |
| Reach | 25 blocks |
| Rate | one bite every 0.7 s at most |
| Bite | 6 × power, Slowness II 3 s, freezing |
| Ending | letting go of the whip undoes the art |
| Cooldown | 15 s; no new art while the serpent is out |
| Spares | you, your allies, creative-mode players |
| Gain | +2 OCA XP |
At OCA 44 (power 1.44), each bite deals 8.6 at 25 blocks: more than four times the reach of a lash.
Incantation: Release Recollection — OCA 54 or more.
If a serpent is awake, it merges into the brood. The lash bursts: its scales come loose in a whirl of mother-of-pearl and form eight serpents. Each picks one prey among the nearest, within 20 blocks, and sets off in turn (a hiss, one every 0.1 s); those without prey rise around you, jaws open, on guard.
Each serpent bites, then coils: the prey is held motionless, frosted over, and the grip tightens every second. At 5.25 s the coils loosen, the serpents return to your hand and braid themselves into a single whip; the art ends at 7 s.
| Value | |
|---|---|
| Serpents | 8, one prey each (the nearest) |
| Reach | 20 blocks |
| Bite | 8 × power |
| Coil | immobilised (Slowness X, Mining Fatigue IV, freezing), 1.5 × power per second |
| Duration | 7 s (coil until 5.25 s) |
| During the art | the whip no longer lashes; letting go undoes the art |
| Cooldown | 90 s (shared by both arts) |
| Spares | you, your allies, creative-mode players |
| Gain | +6 OCA XP |
At OCA 54 (power 1.54), each prey takes a 12.3 bite and stays pinned for over four seconds — enough to finish off eight opponents at once with your allies.
Tips
- The whip is the most accessible Divine Object (Priority 44): aim for it first as your OCA grows.
- Against a group, Release Recollection neutralises eight targets at once: it is a control art more than a damage one.
- Keep the whip in hand during its arts: switching slots cancels them.
