Deep Freeze is the Administrator's command: the targeted unit turns into a stone statue. It no longer moves, no longer strikes — but the stone also protects it, and every hit lands at only half strength. A control art, not an execution.
The incantation
System Call. Generate Cryogenic Element. Generate Cryogenic Element. Generate Cryogenic Element. Deep Freeze.
- It needs System Control Authority 50 (see System and Object Control Authority).
- You must hold at least 3 elements, of any kind: they pay for the command and are consumed.
- The command fires at once, with no closing word, and closes the incantation.

The target
The unit traced earlier in the incantation, at any distance in the dimension; otherwise the creature you are looking at, in line of sight, 24 blocks away at most (a cone of about 12°). Players and creatures, never yourself.
What the statue suffers
- Pinned in place: it is pulled back every instant to the spot where it was petrified; walking, jumping or knockback cannot move it.
- Powerless: Slowness, Mining Fatigue and Weakness at level XI while the spell lasts — it can no longer dig, and its blows barely land.
- Protected: all damage it receives is halved, whatever the source.
- The stone sets in under half a second; at the end, it crumbles with the sound of breaking rock.
Duration by held elements
Cores (Merge Element) count: every fused element is worth one held element.
| Elements | Duration |
|---|---|
| 3 (minimum) | 8 s |
| 6 (maximum at SCA 50) | 11 s |
| 10 (one per finger) | 15 s |
| 15 or more | 20 s |
Early end
- The statue dies.
- You die: the stone falls apart at once.
