Crystal Element
Crystal: weakening shards, crystal armor.
The Crystal Element brings sharp shards into being. It hits a little harder than average (×1.15), with magic damage that armor does not stop, and weakens what it touches. Clung to yourself or an ally, it becomes crystal armor that soaks up blows. The novels say crystalline, the anime crystal: the mod understands both.
Generate Crystal ElementGenerate Crystalline ElementIn a volley
A crystal element that hits a creature deals ×1.15 magic damage and gives it Weakness I for 4 s (3 s + 1 s per step of strength): its own melee blows lose strength.
Against an opponent in heavy armor, crystal is often the best choice: it hits almost as hard as Umbra and armor does not reduce it, unlike metal.
Burst Element
In a Burst, the shards weaken everything the explosion touches. Mixed with light, it breaks it into a prism:
| Mixed with | Reaction | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Luminous | Prism | damage ×1.25 + blindness 4 s |

Adhere
If the aimed target (24 blocks) is an ally or any player, it receives crystal armor: Absorption for 30 s — Absorption I for one element, II for two or three, III for four or five, up to Absorption V from eight.
A creature that is neither an ally nor a player is weakened: Weakness for 4 s + 2 s per element — Weakness I, II from four elements, III from eight.
With no creature in sight, you put on the crystal armor: Absorption for 20 s + 10 s per element, at the same level as above. Crystal does not cling to blocks: aiming at a block protects yourself instead.
In Grand Arts
When crystal dominates the cores, the Grand Art takes the epithet Crystal: Crystal Pillar, Crystal Meteor, Crystal Tempest, Crystal Dome, Crystal Rain. See Merge Element and Grand Arts.
